Some is formalized and you have to take lessons, others you just show up. Some are very old fashioned, such as Contra Dancing, others are new and still evolving.

Ballroom Dancing

Follow this link for our Ballroom Dancing home page. This category includes not just the smooth dances like the Waltz, but also lots of Latin and even country like dances such as Rumba and West Coast Swing.

Contra Dancing

Not to be missed, and your aerobics instructor only wishes she could work you this hard. There are many great events here locally, but one place that some of us start out is link to contra dancing here

Country Dancing

Country dancing is a very popular past-time here in Dallas but no one from our current group has sponsored such an event. If you go country dancing and want to take some people with you, be sure to let someone know, you'll probably get a lot of interest.
